Well I thought I'd let you guys know I'm thinking about playing again. 3 months without WoW and I am getting sick of playing the same old games 
So in the last 3 months I've been playing these
FF XIII  complete
Dragonage Origins complete 3 times as mage, warrior(tank) and rogue(archer)
Dragonage Origins expansion twice
Mass effect revisited and completed (again)
Mass effect 2 loved this game have beaten this on all levels except insanity
Bayonetta bit of a change of pace for me, I'm usually not a great lover of this sort of game
Fallout 3 (goty edition) just got some of the expansions to finish
Tried Oblivion again and still hate the damn thing so now I'm going old school to get some entertainment. Diablo 2
Anyway, getting back to the point, WOW is looking more attractive ATM. You never know the Ted might be back soon but I wont be tanking as my hands are still buggered 
EDIT: Bugger it. I'M BACK  and probably on Draenor

Nah - just don't have any hobbies I can indulge in at home any more, so its gaming or reading and the authors I like don't produce nearly enough books these days

:'( sadly not m8 :S turaylon my brothers guild offered me a raid spot in the 10 man team so i took it. Its full of kids some are nice tho ive missed u m8

Maybe its time to start another Venndetta mage on yet another server Think I can probably hit L80 in about 2-3 weeks. Hmmm food for thought! TBH I've missed all the old gang which boils down to mainly the peeps who still look in here.
On other servers I've been in 3 guilds one of which I helped start and am technically vice GM but like we've seen before its all gone quiet. "Disciples Of The Fallen" started ok with some Pally tanks being rapidly leveled and geared well enough to raid then the usual happened
GM - "Ok we're ready for Nax"
Pally tank - "I'm leaving for a raiding guild"
AAAAggggg how many times have I seen this kind of thing We even had this happen while 2 of us were standing in the Nax entrance waiting for the rest to arrive. Oh well the joys of trying to run a guild I suppose.
Onyx m8 I have no idea how you managed it with 50+ players. Getting stuff done is like trying to heard cats.
Anyway I'll probably start a presence on turaylon to catch up at the very least

Starting up a guild without a solid player base can be very hard. Especially if all people aren't expecting the same kind of progression. Some people want to see the newest and hardest content as fast as possible, while others are fine with completing older content, or newer content just at a slower pace.
I have been officer and co-raid leader if you could call it that in 3 guilds here in wotlk, and while it certainly does make raiding more interesting(i was also the main tank, so i was the one deciding the pace), it is also a lot more tiresome. Luckily i had another great officer i was with, who would handle what you could call the more boring stuff, such as loot and attendance and all the small things, while my job simply was to keep the raid moving and telling them what to do.
It was some good months in ulduar, best time i have had in wotlk, but it got tiresome and when they released the piece of crap called toc i got bored of raiding pretty quickly.
