Well, even though the guild has been dead for years and I haven't played WoW for more than 7 years I still enjoy keeping the website alive. So, we're running a new incarnation based on a recent version of phpBB with a nice new skin.

That'll at least give you guys a surprise should you pop in ...

Yep it was - and is - Leiden. And I do intend to upgrade to a newer version phpBB one of these days as well. Haven't played any games since I gave up Wow, until recently when I started play Ingress on my phone. Quite addictive :D

BTW, I changed the forum settings so messages will hang around a lot ...

And I've been busy cleaning up the artwork a bit. Looking a lot better already. Not that anyone is using this site anymore, just having a bit of fun for old times sake.

After having been down for a long time because of spammers, the board's back up again. Running on an updated phpBB and new hardware.

Right.... quick and dirty phpbb3 install. Hope that will get rid of the anonymous spam posters. Themes and stuff will take a lot of looking in to, but might be fun.

The Obsidian Circle website has been moved to new hardware and a new operating system. We're now running on Ubuntu 9.10 server edition.

Next stop: updating this old forum software to a newer version. So... more downtime will follow sometime in the future. Anyway, not like many people are using this ...

Obsidian Circle is merging into Catalyst guild, this means:

* our players will transfer to Catalyst
* active OC officers get an officer rank in Catalyst
* we'll start out with separate raid teams that can be filled up with spare players from either guild
* OC bank contents and money will be ...

If you have a gaming mouse it may be a good move to tie this macro to one of your extra mouse-buttons. That way it's just:

point mouse
click mouse (extra button)

to apply the sunders.
