Re: Ranks simplified
[*] Circle Master levels: 40 - 60 This rank is part of the Guild leadership. It can only be held by the leader of the Guild. Only by resignation of the current Circle Master can it be transferred to another member. now youve scared me Lol, that's always been in there. And it's technically the only ...

Ranks simplified
Hello all, We've decided to change the guildranks and simplify them a lot. Promoting everyone to their proper rank and keeping track of when players levelled was too much work. Although ranks are not really important players like it when they get promoted to their proper rank. This is why we removed...

Change in guildrules
People, We've added an important new guildrule: Secretly applying to other guilds while still in OC is a kickable offense. Players that are applying to other guilds should be open and honest about this, or preferably just leave OC and then start applying. If you are actively applying to other guilds...

The old ninja thread seems to have been cleaned up, so here's a new one. How guildies should use this forum
I've seen mostly spam added to the recruitments that were posted here, so it's high time for some guidelines. When someone posts a recruitment form, mail only information that will help us decide whether or not the person applying should join. Think about things like: * you've been in parties/raids ...

Enter your information using this form
If you're interested in joining Obsidian Circle and are 16+ years of age you can do so by entering your details using this form. After filling out a form we will give our members some time to add comments about you (like: they've done instances with you and can supply information about the kind of p...

Small update on DKP rules to clarify that players with negative DKP can still receive items. But of course only when no other player (with higher DKP) wants the item. Also, if no player wants an item it gets disenchanted and the materials will be entered into the bank. Of course no zero-sum DKP calc...

Update: I've tweaked the groupmemberships in such a way that players that visit the phpraid calendar from the forums automatically have an account created that has the correct privileges to sign up for raids. This is true for officers as well of course so these need to be changed to the correct perm...

Phpraid calendar being tested
I've installed a raidcalendar addon to the website. It still needs some tweaking on the groupmemberships so you can actually DO something, but it should already use the account you're currently logged in to the forums with as a default account. As soon as some officers have visited the calendar I wi...

Thanks! Was a good kill. We finally got the tactic down. Rotating tanks is the trick. Tank 1 has spider at melee spot, gets webbed. Tank 2 catches spider in front of caster group and moves to melee spot while tank 1 moves to caster spot. Keep repeating... and keep shieldbashing, kicking, counterspel...

DKP
Since last week we're using DKP (Dragon Kill Points) to determine who gets loot in the endgame instances. This post explains DKP to those that don't know how it works. Players build up DKP points by participating in raids, showing up on time, killing bosses and staying until the end of the raid. The...
